Next Club Meeting Saturday June 8th
Dear LWRC Members:
It's been decided! We are giving the REC club a much needed face lift! If you haven't
been to the Rec Cub in the past month, you are in for a real surprise! We have already
started with brand new windows!!! This was all possible to our awesome club members:
Pat O’Neal, his son Austin O'Neal, Mike Borman, Luis Burno, Merritt and Lois Faust.
They removed the old ones and installed the new windows. And I have to say what an
outstanding job, thank you for all your hard work. I personally cannot wait for all the
exciting changes that are to come!
On May 2nd a group of our club members gathered to discuss other ideas to spruce up
the place. Here is what we have decided so far:
1. Paint - Oh yeah, we are slapping a new coat of paint on those walls. The samples are
gathered and on Saturday May 4th we selected the colors. Now that we have decided the
colors we will be painting the entry way, the main hall and kitchen.
2. Flooring- Yes new floors! We are in the process of pricing and selecting what type of
flooring we would like to see.
3. Storage- let’s face it; we need a better solution to store all of our tables and chairs.
There already have been some awesome ideas to make better use of the space we have.
To kick off the renovations we are setting a date to clean out the place. On Saturday June
1st at 9am we are looking for your help! We need help going through and removing
items, wiping down walls, you name it we need your help! And of course I will have the
coffee and donuts waiting.
